my chat and private messaging is not working, i can still see everyone who is online but nothing happens when i click on them, I have shut down everything and started over, and still nothing, what do I do?

Upgrade your browser to Firefox 8 and check
Your UserAgent string in Firefox is probably messed up by another program that you installed.

type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Filter = general.useragent.
Right-click the preferences that are bold, one line at a time, and select Reset.
Then restart Firefox
Once that is fixed, see if chat and private messaging are still giving you a problem.
