how do I disable "Click here to start sharing on Google+" using xp and firefox?
My home page is google. I want to disable the startup bar that says "Click here to start sharing on Google+". I am using windows xp.

This is one irritating attempt too far by Google to get people to sign up to Google+. I've changed my homepage to http://www.duckduckgo.com, which has some nice features of its own (and fewer privacy issues).

I changed from Firefox to Windows Explorer as my browser and that solved the problem so it would appear to be a Google/Mozilla thing
