I have highlighted text which links to an ad popup. What is this, how do I get rid of it?
Every page I am on has words which create a popup link to an ad. What is this? How do I get rid of it.

by cor-elSounds that you have picked up some malware if it happens on every page. You can also check the connection setting to make sure that you aren't using some proxy.

It sounds like the kind of malware associated with the site "Text Enhance". As well as checking the settings as above it would be best to run a comprehensive scan to ensure that your system is cleaned out. The "Malawarebytes" scanner is free and easy to download, and should remove all of the unwanted files for you. Longer term it's probably best to download a more comprehensive firewall: through the site "Comodo" you can download a free firewall and antivirus program that is very powerful. Another free download that it is useful to have on your computer is "Spyware blaster": this will help you to clean up if you run into trouble like this again, but won't slow your system down.
