How do I remove iLivid Web Search?
I regretfully installed iLivid and have had the problem many others have experienced with the irritating searchqu. I have followed the many helpful threads on Firefox Help and through disabling add-ons, using add/remove programs etc, I have manged to just about get rid of it. One annoying aspect remains. On my Firefox page, next to the usual web address field, is another search box that is pre-filled with 'iLivid Web Search'.
Does anyone know what specific part of the removal process will get rid of this? Thanks.

by marilyn2608this worked for me. On the left hand side of the box using the ilivid search there's a small magnifying glass with a drop down arrow. Hit it and you'll see a list of search engines. Go to 'manage search engines' at the bottom, select 'ilivid' and then select 'delete'. Select the search engine you want to use and if it's not already at the top, select 'move up'. Mine's now back to Google.
