how do I get Firefox to show bookmarks in a permanent, vertical column on left side of the screen?
IE allows me to bookmark my favorites and keep them listed in a vertical column on the left side of the screen--which I keep open at all times. Is that function possible in Firefox?

by scottpeterswayI'm not sure about vertical but you can have permanent bookmark tool bar horizontally by R click empty tab area then tick next to bookmark toolbar and there you GO ! Then when you create anew bookmark just select bookmark toolbar in the folder option and you done ! Hope this is a help .

To open the Bookmarks sidebar, in the View menu select Sidebar and then Bookmarks. Alternatively use the keyboard shortcut Control+B

I will most probably have to delete mozilla firefox & go back to internet explorer because of this unless someone can get me an answer that solves this problem immediately!
