I can't uninstall the Firefox beta

The Firefox beta doesn't work. Therefore I will uninstall it. But I cannot, becauseadialog panel says: you must first close firefox. But it is closed. What can I do?

Are you attempting to un-install the programme through the Control Panel/Add Remove Programs? Have you also tried to restart your computer, and then before opening any other programme, go straight to the Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs and try to un-install it from there.
