There is no "options" choice on my Mac. (OS 10.5.8; Firefox 3.6.12)
On a Mac use Firefox > Preferences instead of Tools > Options
FOR MAC - TO DISABLE AUTOFILL:
1) FIREFOX 2) PREFERENCES 3) "PRIVACY" TAB 4) FROM DROPDOWN - "NEVER REMEMBER HISTORY"
