I get http://www.landing.savetubevideo.com when I do searches and I alreadly uninstalled savetubevideo.
When I do searches and click on the results, some results go to custom search with the address http://www.landing.savetubevideo.com. I uninstalled this program and it didn't help.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
== I recevied an error message about downloader.com, wpcap.dll was missing
Chosen solution
by AnonymousUserStep 1: Use search function for "Download Youtube " and Savetubevideo" files. Delete all those file and shortcuts.
Step 2: Go to C:\Program Files. At "Download Youtube Free", right click on mouse and go to 'Properties' and uncheck 'Read Only'. Check yes to change all inside folders and files. Delete ALL the files in there. There will be one ***.dll file cannot be deleted. Rename the particular file to "111.xxx"
Step 3: Backup bookmarks from Firefox and uninstall Firefox on Control Panel.
Step 4: Go back to C:\Program Files and delete folder "Download Youtube Free"
Step 5: Go to C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch and delete any filename with "Download Youtube Free" or similar name to that.
Step 6: Reinstall Firefox. Import the back-up bookmarks.
I hope this helps.

Unfortunately www.revouninstaller.com tool didn't work for me... finally i have tried out a option in Mozilla browser itself to block savetube (www.landing.savetubevideo.com)
Once this page opens, right click > Page options click on 'Permission's tab & Block all, also go to securities tab & delete the cookies.
I have not faced problem afterward, I believe it is solved now..
Go to answer 10i had this problem too. i seem to have found a fix.
first start firefox in safe mode. does that work? it worked for me. if that does work then start in normal mode, goto tools/addons/themes and go back to the default. then restart browser. fixed? with me i only had the default theme in the first place so that wasnt it. then tools/addons/extensions. disable everything. that fixed it for me. so from there once you know its one of the extensions then pick and choose which to enable and see who the culprit is, but if they're all disabled there shouldnt be an issue.
i should mention there's still a small problem. if i type something into the address bar, say "hello", it used to google that word. now instead it goes to a different search. but at least i can browse comfortably w/o that savetube site opening every few seconds. yayyy!
