Pressing Enter does not work in the Location bar

If you enter a web address (URLs) into the Firefox Location bar, then press the Enter key and nothing happens, this problem is caused by an extension that you or another program has installed. (Usually AVG)

Disable the faulty extension
To determine which extension is causing your problem, follow the instructions in the Troubleshooting extensions and themes article.
